Please Note: Our definition varies from some newspapers that describe Shared as within a free paper & Solus as delivered without a newspaper but may still have several other flyers & leaflets.

Solus Distribution:
The delivery item is put out on its own ie without any other material, neither a free paper or other flyers. As with this method, the rate charged must cover all the costs of distribution, checking & our margin, it works out at a higher rate per ‘000 than shared distribution but will provide as specific a delivery as required and may be available with less notice than shared distribution. It also allows for greater flexibility within the map segments, so allowing easy exclusion of certain areas or types of property; such as avoiding flats or council houses.
Prices are generally dependent on the speed of delivery as well as the location of delivery personnel but are usually £45-£60+vat per ‘000.

Street Solus:
As Solus distibution but delivery is managed on a street by street level rather than a map or area basis. This is usually charged on a day rate of £60+vat per 6hr shift, due to the specific nature of these type of contracts, further information will be required before a full quote can be provided

Shareplan:
There are 3 variations on Shared distributions, with correspondingly better value, the greater the flexibility of the distribution.
Premium allowing total control, Standard allowing choice of areas & demographics, with exclusions & Value providing a simple distribution based on profile & area to anywhere there is another distribution going on that fits the required criteria.

Premium Shareplan:
The delivery item is put out with a small number of other flyers, not more than 3 & usually 1-2, never with a free paper. As with this method, the the costs of distribution are shared, this works out at a more affordable rate per ‘000 than solus distribution but will still provide the ability to specify delivery areas required & the delivery schedule. However, in return, there is a slightly less flexibility within the map segments. Required notice is usually a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the distribution start date, to allow time to acquire a leaflet to share. The premium service will continue to be distributed, whether or not a share can be found. You can still allow exclusion of certain areas or types of property; such as avoiding flats or council houses in most cases.
Prices are averaged out unless the location of delivery is particularly difficult or time consuming. Rates are usually £24-£30+vat per ‘000.

Standard Shareplan:
The delivery item is put out with a small number of other flyers, not more than 3 & usually 1-2, never with a free paper. With this method, the costs of distribution are shared, this works out at a more affordable rate per ‘000 than Premium Shared distribution. With this option you specify the areas or profile of clients you would like & distribution is carried out as & when there is a delivery in the area, no particular geographic location is guaranteed, although we would do our best to accommodate the clients requirements. Required notice is usually a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the distribution start date, to allow time to acquire a leaflet to share. With the standard service at least 1 leaflet to share with is required before the area is distributed. Limited exclusions maybe permitted subject to a suitable match of “partner leaflet”.
Prices are averaged out unless the location of delivery is particularly difficult or time consuming. Rates are usually £22-28+vat per ‘000.

Value Shareplan:
With this option you specify only the areas or profile of clients you would like & distribution is carried out as & when there is a delivery in the area, no particular geographic location is guaranteed, although we would do our best to accommodate the clients requirements.
The delivery item is put out with a small number of other flyers, not more than 3 & usually 1-2, never with a free paper. With this method, the costs of distribution are shared, this works out as the most affordable rate per ‘000 within Shared distribution. With this option you specify the areas or profile of clients you would like & distribution is carried out as & when there is a delivery in the area, no particular geographic location is guaranteed, although we would do our best to accommodate the clients requirements. Required notice is usually a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the distribution start date, to allow time to acquire a leaflet to share. With the value service at least 1 leaflet to share with is required before the area is distributed. No sub map exclusions are usually permitted however subject to a suitable match of “partner leaflet”.
Prices are averaged out unless the location of delivery is particularly difficult or time consuming. Rates are usually £19-£25+vat per ‘000.

Bespoke Services:
As we have said before, successful door to door activity is only achieved through partnership between the marketing, creatives, print & production and distribution teams. Although we believe we offer more regular options than any other leaflet deliverer, we are also happy to “personalise” the service even further to cater for everyone’s needs & requirements. Some of the more common requests are detailed but if there is anything you would like your campaign to achieve that you can’t see … just ask! If we can … we will & if we can’t … we’ll either find someone who can or honestly say up front we can’t but it very rarely comes to that. If we can’t do it, then it usually can’t be done.

Magazines & Directories:
If the items to be delivered are heavier than 100g & especially if they are multiple page booklets, magazines or directories then a bespoke quote will be required. This is because with heavier items; vans rather than cars are required, trolleys rather than bags need to be used on the rounds & sometimes teams need to be used it there is a tight delivery schedule.

Sample Distribution:
Not only can information be distributed door to door but samples of anything from a packet of sweets to cans of dog food, cornflakes to razors can be provided to a targeted consumer base however again this is subject to individual pricing. In addition, great care & consideration must be given to the Health & Safety, associated risks and other logistical factors; the dangers of delivering razors is obvious but it would also be exceptionally dangerous to letterbox any products containing nuts in case a child with a nut allergy were to consume them from the doormat of the home. In most cases, samples would be delivered either as part of a 2 visit system where the recipient would confirm that it was ok & safe to receive the promotional item eg hang a bag on the outside of the door or the more established method of knocking on each door & presenting the samples, whilst advising of any risks. This is also usually used in conjunction with gathering data for analysis & future marketing campaigns.

Rural Distribution:
If the delivery requirement strays beyond the usual build up areas, we are happy to accommodate however the rates are invariably more as it is far less efficient driving around the countryside delivering 80 houses & moving on again

Time Specific:
All of our distributions have an advised timeline however none of our standard packages guarantee a particular deadline. If there is an absolute cut off point you can treat it on of two ways;
Make that date clear as soon as possible & we can ensure no leaflets are delivered after the date hence saving embarrassment or disappointment.
Booking the premium Time Specific service where we can get as close to an absolute guarantee as possible. This should be booked as early as possible to ensure acceptance but can also include one of our special teams, weather proofed, to enable work to be carried out in almost any weather.

Street & Exhibition Distribution:

Design & Printing:

Internally we have digital duplicators & copy printers available for quick, inexpensive and simple flyers as well as great relationships with litho & full colour printers so are set up to get you the best deal.

Copywriting:
It can be very time consuming to get 'just the right words' to make your leaflet pack that all important punch. If you're a skilled wordsmith then great ... if not there are specialists called copywriters that will turn your basic draft into powerful & compelling text. Costs vary considerably on how complex the assignment but a guideline would be approx, £40 per hour or £15-£25 per page of A4 text.
